When purchasing a wig we list three major things you should consider. This will help you choose the perfect wig fit for your lifestyle.
How often do you want to wear your wig?
Consider if you’re seeking a wig for an occasion or everyday usage. Will you sleep in it or take it off every night and reinstall it every morning? You have more options if you're seeking a wig for just an occasion. If you want something you can wear every day a glue-less wig may be the best option. These types of wigs are beginner friendly and require less time to take off and put on.
Will you install the wig yourself or visit a professional?
Beginner-friendly wigs such as lace closure wigs are best if you plan to install the wig yourself. These types of wigs are stationary in part and style and closure requires low maintenance. If you are visiting a professional for your installs, you will have more options when selecting a wig. We recommend contacting that professional to confirm they can execute the style and installation you’re seeking.
How active are you?
Do you work out? Have small children? Always late to work and only have a few minutes to spare in the Am? Then you might consider getting a wig that doesn’t require much maintenance. We refer to these wigs as “get up and go wigs”. They require you to have a flat foundation or base and install the wig using an elastic band to help secure it. They’re typically already styled and require a bump or simple curl to get you moving. Also, if you work out, you’re prone to sweat excessively and a wig you can put in a ponytail would help get hair off the face. We recommend glue-less wigs or protective styles with extensions to be sure it compliments your active lifestyle.
